Non-Public Textbook Loans
he East Bay Educational Collaborative (EBEC) manages the non-public textbook loan programs for our school district.
Residents who have children in non-public schools may request textbooks in math, science, history, language arts and foreign language, provided the book is on the RI Department of Education textbook list (books on religion, soft cover, workbooks, e-books and novels are not included). Books not on the RI Department of Education list will not be provided.
All current year textbooks must be returned or paid for, before new books can be ordered/picked up. A $5 per book late fee will be assessed on textbooks returned after June 30 of each school year.
The correct ISBN# of the textbook must be provided. Proof of residency (license, utility bill) must be emailed/mailed to EBEC for students new to this system. If a student enrolls in a non-public school subsequent to June 30 of each school year, submit the order form online and we will obtain the textbooks that are on the RI Department of Education list.
