Bristol Warren Regional School District

The Bristol Warren Regional School District (BWRSD) is a PK-12 public school system supporting the education of students in the towns of Bristol and Warren.  The district educates approximately 3,300 students and is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

BWRSD offers numerous programs to support the academic success of all students, including an emphasis on rigorous academic standards, high quality educators, supportive learning environments, and real world learning experiences to enhance content learning, develop career awareness, connect students to our community, and prepare them for the challenges of college and careers in a technologically advanced society.

The district’s mission of engaging families and community partners in creating vibrant learning environments that support all students in realizing their full potential as productive and successful members of society is also focused on our goal of becoming a top 5 academic school district in Rhode Island in 5 years.

Working to become Top 5 in 5 will require:

  • Creating and maintaining a positive school culture and climate for all students and staff.
  • Reflecting upon and improving the teaching and learning in each classroom for each student daily.
  • All staff engaging in a growth mindset about professional learning.
  • Creating systematic procedures to be used throughout the school district.
  • Enhancing customer service, transparency and communication with parents, staff and the community we serve.
